Hilton Knoxville Wedding
We were so honored to photograph Shantel & Trey’s beautiful wedding. After just a few meetings with the couple, my excitement grew for their special day. The wedding ceremony was held at First Presbyterian Church, and the reception at the Hilton Downtown. I fell in love with their choice of colors. The fuchsia and orange fit their bubbly personality so well. If you know the couple, you know exactly what I mean. There’s no way to be around either of them without smiling.
The day began surrounded by friends and family as they each prepared to say, “I do.” Before the final moment, Shantel and Trey said a prayer with their friends and family surrounded around them. Trey and Shantel chose to see each other during their wedding ceremony, so it was a special moment when she was walking down the aisle. A moment each of them had anticipated for quite some time, as you can see on Trey’s face. For their portraits we took a short walk to downtown Knoxville, Market Square, and drove over to the Old City for a quick stop before the reception began.
The Hilton certainly outdid themselves! Being from New Orleans Trey asked that they cater some Cajun foods, while Knoxville native requested a little southern comfort food such as a macaroni bar. Publix off Northshore made a beautiful cake for the couple. The beautiful floral arrangements were made by Echelon Florists of Knoxville.
Trey & Shantel, I can’t thank you enough for including me on this beautiful day. Your Hilton wedding was absolutely perfect, and I wish you both nothing but years of happiness.
