Pleasant Hill Vineyards and Winery Wedding :: Maryville TN Wedding Photographers
Oh, Carmen! It’s hard to believe the day finally came and now it has passed. We all anticipated this day from early spring (for her, it may have been the day she met Jake). It was everything Carmen dreamed about. A beautiful fall wedding that encompassed everything about Fall, with all of her friends and family by her side. Most importantly, Jake would be at the end of that isle where they would become husband and wife.
Throughout the entire planning process we discussed staying warm. With a wedding in Late October it was sure to be freezing cold. Oddly enough, the day was perfect! It almost felt as though summer decided to show up for the wedding. Everything was on point for my last wedding of the year. I mean, look at those shoes!!! Between the Vineyards, flowers, details, dress/veil, and couple, it was perfect!
The girls prepared for the day inside the loft where champagne (and Nyquil) was passed around while they shared stories, tears, and many laughs. As the moment arose for Carmen to see her father for the first time, tears and nerves struck. As soon as her father turned around his eyes lit up. It was one of the sweetest father/daughter looks of the year. This is why I love these moments. What daddy’s girl doesn’t want her father to look at her this way? So proud of everything his little girl has become.
One of the best features of this wedding was the anticipated roast of the evening. While chef Tony’s food was delicious, I am not referring to his food. Carmen & Jake decided to go the untraditional route and roast their wedding party during the introductions. Their reactions were perfect (must see below)!
The day ended as the sun set and Corey Ozair lit up the dance floor! If I haven’t said it enough, the day was PERFECT!
